As the microscopy and microanalysis community gathers in Milwaukee for M&M 2026, CAMECA is proud to celebrate a major achievement: Dr. David J. Larson, Director of Strategic Initiatives at CAMECA, will be inducted as a 2026 Fellow of the Microanalysis Society (MAS), one of the highest honors in the field of microanalysis.
Dr. Larson is being recognized for his pioneering contributions to the development of atom probe science and technology and for his leadership within the microanalysis community. His work has helped establish
atom probe tomography as a key technique for understanding materials at the atomic scale.
