Note that the conference will start in the early afternoon on Monday, and close right with lunch on the Wednesday.
Mahesh Anand, Professor of Planetary Science and Exploration at the Open University’s School of Physical Science, will be your host. Together with his team, he has started planning actively. Members of the scientific committee and invited speakers will soon be announced, as well as registration and abstract submission guidelines. Please note that there will be a small registration fee to help cover the costs of coffee breaks, lunches, and evening’s social events.
We are pleased to already share some tips to help with your trip and stay:
Travel Information:
- London Luton (LTN): The nearest airport, primarily served by EasyJet and WizzAir, is about a 30-minute taxi ride to the Open University.
- London Heathrow (LHR): Approximately a 60-minute taxi ride to the Open University.
- Eurostar: Services terminate at London Kings Cross St Pancras. From there, you can walk for 10-15 minutes to London Euston (or take an underground/subway) train station. Direct trains from London Euston to Milton Keynes Central (or Bletchley rail station, one stop before Milton Keynes) take approximately 35-45 minutes, depending on the service. A taxi from Milton Keynes station or Bletchley rail station to the Open University takes 10-20 minutes and costs between £10-15, depending on the time of day.
- Skyline Taxis: The main taxi company, which can be booked in advance (recommended) for airport pick-ups, drop-offs, and local travel in Milton Keynes. You can also download their app for convenience.

Coachway: Provides regular coach (bus) connections from central London and other local airports.
