Analysis of clinopyroxene crystals with CAMECA SXFive EPMA

Clinopyroxene crystals of basanitic rock from Passo da Capela Alkaline Suite (southern Brazil) exhibit expressive oscillatory zoning and numerous resorption surfaces produced during growth due to recharge of magma. Mg, Fe, Al and Ti X-ray maps acquired at 15kV and 100 nA.
